America (Razorlight song)
'America' is a song by English indie rock band Razorlight, and is the fourth track to their self-titled second album, Razorlight. It was written by the band's drummer Andy Burrows and was also released as the second single from that album in October 2006. It became the band's first #1 single in the United Kingdom (see 2006 in British music). The single was the UK's seventeenth best selling single of the year.[1] The song also peaked at #6 in Ireland, #9 in the Netherlands, #10 in New Zealand, #17 in Austria, #21 in Belgium, #22 in France, #29 in Switzerland, and #38 in Germany.

The music video for America features a live performance of the band on their America tour of the USA. It also features pictures of the US including The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty.
